Activities of Muslims – Daily activities carried out by Muslims

As a Muslim, living daily life means combining routine activities with worship practices that strengthen faith. Here are some activities that are usually carried out by Muslims:

1. Pray five times

Prayer is an obligation that must be carried out five times a day: dawn, zuhur, asr, maghrib, and isya. This prayer helps Muslims remember Allah throughout the day and maintains spiritual closeness.

2. Reading and memorizing the Quran

Reading the Quran every day is a common practice for many Muslims. Some even go on to memorize certain verses or suras, known as ‘tahfiz.’

3. Running the sunnah

In addition to the obligatory prayers, many Muslims also perform the sunnah prayer, such as the dhuha prayer in the morning or the tahajjud prayer at night. Other sunnah activities include fasting on Mondays and Thursdays.

4. Attend the science assembly and discuss

Muslims often attend the assembly of knowledge in mosques or their communities to learn more about religion, discuss, and gain enlightenment.

5. Giving charity and sharing

Giving alms, helping those in need, and contributing to social charity is an integral part of the life of a Muslim.

Integrating these activities into daily life helps Muslims stay connected to their faith and live life according to the teachings of Islam.
